The Perfect Cabin retreat in Rotterdam

A waterside heaven

Starting December of with an extraordinary weekend at Rotterdam.
Cabin 3 is the perfect retreat to chill out away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Although the cabin is only 40 m2, it feels very spacious because everything is so well thought out! It has every luxury you can wish for and the interior design is absolutely stunning!

A little water bike takes you from the parking lot to the cabin in a few minutes. After exploring the cabin we put our home made lasagne in the oven, lit up the fireplace and chilled out completely!

Cabin 3 Getaway Deluxe

Sustainable luxury

The cabin is build out of sustainable and beautiful materials. On the outside there is this huge wooden deck with a big lounge area, a wood stove/ pizza oven and to top it of a hammock!
In summertime I reckon people spend most of their time outside!
Nevertheless even coming here in wintertime was amazing! We spent our time mostly in front of the cosy wood stove. The beautiful lounge area is great for reading and relaxing. You can also use the pull out screen with a HDR beamer to watch Netflix or a movie.

The kitchen is very complete; dishwasher, oven, freezer, fridge and a very nice Espresso machine!
The cabin can sleep 4 people, the beds are very good and the bathroom essentials are great!

Dog’s and pets are welcome and the hosts are great! Their communication is sublime, they make you feel at home by checking in (without bothering you), and are always ready to help or answer your questions!

Boat adventures

On our second day we took the electric boat (to rent with the cabin) out for a stroll on the Bergse Plassen. Exploring the waterside in mid December is pretty cold I tell you.. The advantage of being away on a summer retreat in winter? We had the water all to ourselves so we could sail to our heart’s content!
We were blessed with sunshine instead of rain so it was a lot of fun to explore the area by boat, even though we were dressed like eskimo’s !

After freezing our asses off on our little boat trip, we ordered Thai take away (by boat). Deli Noord is highly recommendable!
Belly full, wood stove smashing it, good books, a bottle of wine and even better company!

Do you want the perfect cabin retreat in Rotterdam?! Cabin 3 from getaway deluxe is the place to be! Check it out…

Ps: if you want to check out Rotterdam city, it is only 15 minutes away! We decided to come back for that because our weekend in the cabin had us feeling so relaxed and chill so a big city may have spoiled that vibe ..
